December 2010 — We were lucky enough to have a table at the first Brooklyn Comics & Graphics Festival, hosted by Picturebox Inc. and Desert Island. Didn’t get many good photos of the day but met a lot of great people (Closed Caption Comics crew, Blaise Larmee, Aidan Koch, Matthew Thurber & Charles Burns!), brought home amazing comics (a LOT of them), found the best food (Asiadog, some good Ramen) and saw excellent new photography at MOMA (really loved the work by Amanda Ross-Ho).
New York Tips; DIA Beacon (upstate large-scale art hangar), Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Pies & Thighs (best fried chicken) & Desert Island Comics.
